Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds may be issued for bookings made on MekaMove. It applies to all ride types (Transfer, Trip, Taxi, Rental, Stay) unless a product-specific policy clearly states otherwise.

How to request a refund

Can’t access the app? Email support@mekamove.com with your Booking ID (e.g., TRF-2025-0007).

Fees & Deductions

  • • Processor or FX fees are non-refundable (third-party).
  • • Parking, tolls, and add-ons already incurred aren’t refunded.
  • • Promo codes aren’t cash-redeemable or reinstated.

Non-Refundable Cases

  • • No-show after grace period & contact attempts.
  • • Wrong pickup details; driver couldn’t reach you.
  • • Policy violations or fraudulent activity.
  • • Stays already used; Rentals time already consumed.

Partial Refunds

If part of your service wasn’t delivered (e.g., route cut due to weather), we’ll verify with your driver & GPS logs and refund the undelivered portion.

Driver cancellation / unavailability
Full refund or free re-booking.
Severe weather or emergencies
Flexible re-booking or full refund if travel is unsafe or restricted.
Quality issues (vehicle, punctuality)
File within 24h; we investigate and compensate where due.
Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback, our refund process pauses until the card issuer resolves it.
Modifications vs refunds
Edits up to 2h before start. Price ↑ pay difference, price ↓ we refund the difference per eligibility.
Refund method
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method; cash/unsupported → Wallet or bank details.
